197 Marsh Wall, London E14 was a complete commercial refurbishment and fitting out project of a 1980’s office building.
Background:
The building was constructed in the mid 1980’s, therefore the primary services, HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical services and equipment had come to the end of their serviceable life.
The owners, Schroder Property Investment (Gresham II Fund) (SPI) employed Orion Group to carry out the complete refurbishment of the 60k Sq Ft building.
Scope of Works:
New Mechanical & Electrical services were installed throughout the building and all floors were refurbished to Grade A Standards.
The existing lifts were refurbished including the lift cars, ropes and Mechanical & Electrical services.
The existing reception area was redesigned and fitted out at the end of the main project.
Externally, Orion Group thoroughly cleaned the building (using abseiling), carried out external alterations and re-landscaping.
