When we purchased an old 1950's factory with a view to converting it to a flagship Head Office, the task was totally overwhelming.
Orion have been simply marvelous! From design stage to final completion, they have held our hands and given us a Head Office that is far beyond our wildest dreams. Not only that but they have brought home the project on budget, on time despite our many small changes to the original plans as work progressed.
The workforce has been friendly, helpful and polite and our Project Manager has been with us all the way - even staying on one week after sign off to help us with niggling problems and familiarisation with the building.
Never a day goes by that I do not thank my lucky stars that we chose Orion for this major step change in our business and I thoroughly recommend them to any other organisation that is considering using their services.

Background:
Orion have worked for Isuzu Truck UK Limited for over 10 years. Having outgrown their existing premises Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd., asked Orion Group for advice on relocating. A brief was prepared and after due consideration the "Hatfield Site" was chosen.
Orion Group were employed as consultants to prepare detailed designs and cost plans. Once the designs and report were agreed, Orion Group prepared and submitted the planning application and achieved detailed planning consent within 3 months.
Scope of Works
When Orion Group had completed their consultancy, Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd., had everything they needed to build their new facility. This consisted of:
- Detailed designs
- Specifications
- Detailed cost plan
- Programme of works
- Health & Safety Plan.
The decision now had to be made on how to procure the works. Orion provided a full, un-biased appraisal of various methods of procurement and also encouraged Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd., to seek independent advice. After due consideration, Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd., decided that they wanted to carry on working with Orion Group and instructed us to commence works on site at the earliest opportunity.
